Paul Amery is editor of IndexUniverse.eu, the sister website to IndexUniverse.com. IndexUniverse.eu is devoted to analysis, news coverage and comment on the European exchange-traded funds and indexing business.

Amery became full-time editor for IndexUniverse.eu in October 2008, having previously written for the site on a freelance basis. His comment and feature articles have also been published in the Financial Times, Money Week and on several specialist financial Web sites. He is a regular commentator on CNBC Europe.

Before joining Index Publications, Amery had a 20-year career in financial markets as an analyst, trader, fund manager and private investor, working for Schroders, Cargill, ING and Insight. He also spent two years in the mid-1990s as an adviser in the Ukrainian Ministry of Finance.

Amery graduated from Cambridge University in Russian and French in 1986, and has a postgraduate diploma from Oxford University. He qualified as associate of the Institute of Investment Management and Research (formerly the Society of Investment Analysts) in 1989, and has the Investment Management Certificate.
